Task
Resize a photo to 200×230 px under 50 KB
Some exam and recruitment portals require a photo of exactly 200×230 pixels with a file-size band such as 20–50 KB. Getting both dimensions and size right by hand is fiddly.
This page is pre-set to 200×230 px and a 50 KB maximum. It resizes and compresses together so the download fits the usual upper cap. We do not pad files up to a 20 KB minimum — if your form rejects files that are “too small,” start from a higher-quality source or check whether the portal allows a slightly less aggressive compression.

Frequently asked questions
- My form says 200×230 px and 20–50 KB — does this page work?
- Yes for the upper end: we target exactly 200×230 px and keep the JPG under 50 KB. Many forms list a 20–50 KB band; as long as your download is at or below 50 KB and meets the pixel size, it usually passes. ExactPic does not artificially inflate small files to hit a 20 KB floor.
Still rejected? Troubleshooting
- The face looks stretched
- 200×230 is slightly taller than wide. Crop your source to roughly that shape before resizing to avoid distortion.
- The form says 20–50 KB and my file is under 20 KB
- ExactPic targets the 50 KB maximum and does not pad files. Use a sharper source photo or a slightly higher quality export if the portal rejects undersized files.
Private by design. Your file is read and fixed entirely in your browser — it is never uploaded. You can verify this yourself.
