Why form uploads get rejected
File size is the most common reason a form rejects a photo, but not the only one. Uploads also fail when the pixel dimensions are wrong, the format is unsupported (for example HEIC or WebP), the aspect ratio does not match, or the file is corrupted.
Before submitting an application, compress your photo to the limit listed on the form — often 50KB or 100KB — and double-check the required dimensions and accepted formats. Keep a copy of the original elsewhere.
Fix a specific requirement
If your form also specifies dimensions or a format, these pages fix everything in one step.
